Shipping

1. How will my order be packaged?

   Depending on whether your purchase is live or dry goods, your order will be packed differently.

   For dry goods, your order will be shipped in either a USPS Priority mail envelope or box.  The size of the box depends on the size of your order.

   For shrimp, snails and other live stock, your order will be shipped in a USPS Priority mail box with insulation to keep the stock at the desired temperature.  They will be housed in a Kordon Breather bag, an innovative bag that allows Oxygen in and Carbon Dioxide out.  For more on the Kordon Breather bag, click here.

   During the winter, heat packs will be included to insure that your live stock arrives to you alive.  The shipping charges will be increased during this period due to the additional cost of the heat pack.
   

2. How will I receive my package?

   All shipping will be through USPS to help keep the cost down.  The amount of time depends on whether you buy live stock or dry goods.  Live stock is shipped Priority Mail and should be at your doorstep 2-3 days after shipping.  Dry is shipped first class and should arrive within 2-7 days after shipment.
   

3. What does shipping cost?

   My Nano Tank tries to keep shipping costs as low as possible for customers, and for this reason we primarily use USPS to ship our products.  Each product describes the cost of shipping in the description of the product, and the cost is added at checkout.  The price varies by product and number of products that you purchase.  The highest shipping cost for any one product will be $12.00.
   

4. When is shipping added to the order?

   When purchasing items from the store, the cost of shipping is not displayed until you view the cart and click "Pay with Paypal". Once you have done this, you will be redirected to Paypal's website which will allow you to safely and securely pay for your items.  Once you are redirected to Paypal's website the total for your purchase, including shipping, is displayed for your review before making the final payment.  The order can be canceled at any time until the "Pay Now" button is clicked on Paypal's website.

1. How do I pay?

   Currently the only form of payment is via Paypal.  At My Nano Tank, we believe Paypal is the most secure form of payment for both the customer and our business.  You can pay with confidence at My Nano Tank with Paypal.
